Lolwa J. AlMohannadi
A multidisciplinary graphic designer whose work explores the intersection of cultural identity, storytelling, and visual minimalism. With a focus on clarity and narrative, her practice spans across visual systems, print, illustration, product design, and interactive experiences. She is particularly drawn to projects that explore the emotional and cultural dimensions of design, often working with themes that connect memory, place, and form. Her design journey began in Doha in VCU-Q and continued in Istanbul, where she earned a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design, deepening her interest in cross-cultural aesthetics. AlMohannadi’s approach to design is rooted in thoughtful observation and the belief that even the simplest visual elements can carry powerful meaning.
Graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar with BFA in Graphic design in 2015 & an MA in Visual Arts & Visual Communication Design from Sabanci University (Istanbul) in 2022.
